Elixir for HousePlant

The special thing about houseplants is that they live in relatively small pots and therefore quickly use up all the nutrients and water. You can use this product for all cultivation methods. They come from different parts of the world and we want to supply all these different varieties with one and the same fertiliser. Therefore we developed the HousePlant Elixir, which offers the ideal nutrient supply for every indoor plant.

The nutrients in HousePlant Elixir are combined in such a way that even limited environments like small pots remain vibrant.

In addition to the basic nutrients, HousePlant Elixir offers a wide range of vital substances that enable a complete biotope to develop in a small flower pot.

Fertilise only during the growth and flowering period.
The less light, the less fertiliser.
HousePlant Elixir is low in salt, ideal for house plants.

Irrigation slow-growing plants: 2 ml / 1 L
Irrigation fast-growing plants: 3-5 ml / 1 L
Foliar fertilisation: 1 ml / 1 L

Regularly, 1-4 times per month.

Note: Since the water supply is higher for fast-growing plants, they automatically get more fertiliser as well.

Many of the most popular houseplants belong to the arum family (Araceae), often referred to colloquially as aroids. This family includes more than 4000 species and the distribution area stretches all over the world. We all know the Monstera and Philondendron for their lovely big leaves. Another interesting fact is the flamingo flower (Anthurium), which is famous for its beautiful shades of red and pink. What you wouldn't expect, many aquarium plants are also aroids: the Anubias, a swamp plant, is a beauty in water and even flowers underwater from time to time. Some special characteristics: most aroids are bisexual, the male flowers are at the top of the spadix and the lower part of the spadix is female. Aroids can actively warm their flowers. They protect their flowers from frost damage by keeping their internal temperature constant. The largest flower in the world, formed by an aroid (titan root), grows over 2 m high.

ABOUT FERTILISERS

All our fertilisers provide nutrients for plants to grow and thrive. They enrich your plant with the nutrients it needs, for a specific period of its life cycle. Fertilisers make your crops grow faster and larger, so yields will be increased. We divide the type of nutrients into different levels. The primary nutrients are nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K). These three nutrients improve the growth and productiveness of the plant. Secondary nutrients are for example calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg) and sulphur (S). There are further micro nutrients that complete the composition of each individual fertiliser. The Hesi fertilisers contain several different nutrients, blended to the perfect mix for your plants! Use our boosters alongside your fertiliser feed, to improve the metabolism and resistance of your plant.
